Requirements: This is an exciting opportunity to work within KEO’s Project Management and Construction Management (PM/CM) Division as a Health and Safety Manager. You will maintain effective operation and management of KEO’s Safety Management System. In addition, you will provide health and safety information and guidance to KEO staff, project stakeholders and contractors to continually raise the standards of Health and Safety on site. You will be part of the project management team during infrastructure construction phase of a large 9,000 unit master planned community in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
• In depth knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessment processes, legal requirements & industry best practices and standards.
• Experience in a broad range of construction projects with experience in civil / infrastructure projects required. Ideally additional experience in shell and core construction with in-situ concrete, in commercial and residential sectors.
• Detailed knowledge of construction techniques and methodology
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written to differing levels of management & diverse ethnicity.
• Computer literate with excellent report writing & presentation skills.
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/ Construction/Engineering or related discipline. Ideally a post-graduate HSE Diploma. (Nebosh equivalent). A minimum of 15 years Health and Safety experience with a minimum of 3 years in a similar Project Management role.
Previous experience gained within a Consultancy would be beneficial, whilst prior experience in the Gulf Region is advantageous.
